Unique Fingerprint for Jewelry

A brand owner in the luxury industry has successfully validated our new, unique fingerprint technology approach. This approach enables the real-time identification of metallic objects using only a smartphone camera and our dedicated app, without any modification of the object. The validation was successfully performed on a series of different products. It also included aging tests to assess the robustness of our detection system against alterations that luxury objects undergo when used by customers. These tests were also successful. More generally, AlpVision is currently the only company providing authentication of precious metals for consumers using smartphones. Extending our capability to serialization has many applications and keeps AlpVision at the forefront of technologies for product security.
