The AlpVision Cryptoglyph® technology is printed on over 30 billion product items each year and has been proven to be both easy to use and effective in detecting counterfeit products. However, we have recently met and discussed with companies with a totally different need. They are not looking for authentication, but rather, for a serialization solution that would both be invisible and challenging to remove. To meet this demand, we have developed a variable version of the Cryptoglyph. It can mark a unique code on each product item, providing an invisible track and trace solution that is practically impossible to remove. Other available solutions (e.g. QRCode, UV code, RFID, etc.) have shown themselves to be easily damaged or breached. Therefore, we believe this new approach will be very useful, particularly to monitor gray market activities.
