We recently deployed a solution in China using our AlpVision Fingerprint technology, which leverages the natural microstructure of objects for authentication. This method offers several advantages over traditional technologies: it adds no manufacturing costs and is highly resistant to counterfeiting.
What makes this deployment especially noteworthy is its accessibility — consumers can authenticate products directly on their smartphones via the WeChat app, which is widely used across China on both iOS and Android platforms. This allows users to easily verify plastic components and ensure product authenticity.
This launch opens the door to numerous other applications throughout the Chinese market.
