In a few months, Apple will roll out iOS 16 for its mobile devices. On July 11, Apple released the first public beta of iOS 16, and AlpVision took the chance to look at and run a first compatibility test of our Cryptoglyph, AlpVision Fingerprint, and secured QR code applications. The credo of the new iOS release reads: “iOS 16 enhances iPhone with all-new personalization features, deeper intelligence, and more seamless ways to communicate.”.
Changes coming with iOS 16 include multiple and customizable lock screens, event and notification filtering, enhanced photo sharing, a new home app, and an enhanced search system. We have tested most of our current authentication and quality control applications on the iOS 16 beta release and are happy to report that they all run without any problem. Full compatibility can, of course, only be confirmed upon testing on the final release this fall.
