Some time ago the world customs organization released API Version 2.0 of IPM, their web and mobile platform. This platform allows rights holders to share relevant product information and facilitates online verification of product authenticity. AlpVision was the very first solution provider to integrate into IPM giving parties such as customs the possibility to verify product authenticity using AlpVision’s technologies. The release of the new API Version 2.0 extends the first version of IPM with new functionalities. All our solutions are now fully compatible with this new release and a demonstration system is available upon request. How does it work? Users simply use the IPM application to scan the product QR/barcode with their smartphone and are then guided through the authentication process.
